Hi, I’m a dedicated storyboard artist who loves entertaining my audience through visuals, and portraying a convincing story via considered composition and character designs. I specialise in action and children’s media.

Sydney Barnhart is a storyboard artist and stop-motion animator based in Bristol. Having moved from the United States, she sought to expand her horizons abroad and adapt to a new creative field across the pond. While at UWE Bristol, she studied two areas of the animation world- both stop motion animation and pre-production. She has since co-directed a hybrid-animation short film titled Munchie Run, and designed, storyboarded and animated on multiple student projects.

I’m Emilie Benedikt, a freelance storyboard artist, who combines the CG and 2D medium. I utilize Maya to model 3D reference environments. I use these CG environments to create immersive character-driven storyboards.This approach allows me to adapt to new workflows efficiently and proactively implement feedback which ensures a high creative standard for all my work.

I love creating drama and emotion focused animatics and stories in my own time, just as much as during university. I feel I have really found my creative calling while at UWE, using my third year to really explore and push what i want to pursue as a career. I find inspiration everywhere I go, especially in exploring emotional dynamics in relationships and finding a way to channel that into my own creative projects.
